The urban CGC focuses on skills needed for dogs living or visiting urban environments.
Requirements
- Dog must have the CGCA title
- Perform CGC and CGCA skills in an urban setting with heavy distractions
- Walk on busy sidewalk with heavy foot traffic
- Walk through a parking lot
- Enter a building lobby
- Ride an elevator or escalator
- Perform down-stay while owner is temporarily occupied
- Greet people in a variety of settings
- Behave appropriately in a store or public building that allows dogs
- Wait at a corner/crosswalk
