About this title

Full certification through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Requires testing and observed visits.

Requirements

  1. Dog must be at least 1 year old
  2. Pass ATD temperament test
  3. Complete required number of observed visits with a tester/observer
  4. Dog must be socialized and friendly with all people
  5. Handler must be a member of ATD
  6. Dog must be current on all vaccinations
  7. Dog must have a CGC or equivalent
